Research Interests:

Mooring OPB/IPB

Offshore industry will require bigger and heavier platforms and want to resist harsh environments in a future. This trend of offshore platform design will cause to occur OPB/IPB fatigue failure more frequently.  If the fatigue life due to OPB/IPB is considered from initial design phase (Pre-FEED or FEED), unexpected rupture of mooring system like caused by OPB/IPB can be prevented. Thus, this research will focus on develop innovative software to check OPB/IPB fatigue life at early stage.
